3" Threaded Flange foreign

Screwed or Threaded flanges are attached to the pipe like any other screwed fittings, and may be back-welded to seal the joint between pipe and flange. Although still available in most sizes and pressure ratings, screwed fittings today are used almost exclusively in smaller pipe sizes and at low pressures.

Threaded flanges are confined to special applications. Their chief merit lies in the fact that they can be assembled without welding this explains their use in extremely high pressure services, particularly at or near atmospheric temperature, where alloy steel is essential for strength and where the necessary post weld heat treatment is impractical.
Threaded pipe flanges are protruding rims, edges, ribs, or collars used to make a connection between two pipes or between a pipe and any type of fitting or equipment component. Pipe flanges are used for dismantling pipe systems, temporary or mobile installations, transitions between dissimilar materials, and connections in environments not conducive to solvent cementing.
Threaded pipe flanges are a type of Steel Flange which slides over the end of steel piping and then welded in place. Because the pipe slips into the flange are both welded, resulting in sufficient strengh and no leak.
ASME flange include B16.5 flangeB16.47-A flangeB16.47-B flange , this standard system include slip on flange, blind flange, welded neck flange, threaded flange, lapped joint flange (loose flange), socket welded flange, B16.36 Orifice Flange, long Weld Neck Flange and Special Flange, sizes from 1/2 inch to 60 inch, class 150, class 300, class 600, class 900, class 1500, class 2500.
